Back to Project Management

First Approach

This project management system is set up like many others: database tables represent conceptual objects, and columns are attributes of these objects. Thus there is a table for general job info, several tables for certain subaspects of jobs, a table for general freelancer info and again several tables for certain subaspects.

The web interface consists of table views and corresponding edit forms.

Examples (click on images for a larger view):

Overview of Jobs

Edit form for Jobs

Overview of Freelancers

Detail View of Individual Freelancer: each link goes to another specialized form

Search Page: allows to compose complex queries without knowledge of SQL; searches only a given (set of) table(s)

Job Routing: each link goes to another specialized form
